Member Company Internships
To add value to ABIR's professional development offerings, its member companies offer several work experience and internship opportunities via the island’s leading international re/insurance companies. These internship opportunities afford young Bermudians opportunities to network, interact and learn skills that will help them to navigate their way into the industry.
Summer Internship Agenda
We are excited to continue supporting our member companies by offering a comprehensive supplementary program designed to elevate and enrich the interns’ summer experience. The ABIR Intern Program blends professional development, industry exposure, and community engagement through a thoughtfully structured schedule across June and July.
Interns participate in career roundtables, gaining insight from industry leaders and expanding their understanding of Bermuda’s re/insurance landscape. A series of professional workshops—including sessions on interview skills, LinkedIn strategies, and professional headshots—equip them with practical tools to strengthen their career readiness.
To further enhance their experience, the program includes networking opportunities that connect interns with peers, professionals and senior executives across the sector, as well as a Community Day to foster service and civic engagement.
